B&R Donates Over 350 Pounds of Food to the Maryland Food Bank

In celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, B&R held an internal food drive for six weeks with employees purchasing non-perishable food items off the Maryland Food Bank’s Most Needed Items list. B&R delivered the food on Thursday, November 19, which tipped the scales at 363 pounds. According to the US Department of Agriculture, that is enough food to feed about 73 people.

“This was the second year B&R employees personally purchased and donated over 350 pounds of food for the Maryland Food Bank. I am impressed, as always, with our team, and as the holidays approach, I would implore others in the A/E/C community to lend a hand in helping our less-fortunate neighbors,” stated David Vocci, the company’s President.
