From design to delivery, services include:

Design Phase

  • Preparation of engineering design drawings and specifications for MEP systems, to include initial conceptual design, project budgeting, systems analysis and construction document preparation for bid purposes
  • Development of MEP Systems design criteria and related budget costing
  • Preparation of reports analyzing existing or proposed MEP Systems with respect to capacities, energy usage, flexibility, quality, cost and performance
  • System comparison reports
  • System energy analysis reports
  • Preparation or review of tenant design drawings

Construction Phase

  • Preparation of equipment and subcontract bid packages
  • Bid analysis and review of Subcontractors’ qualifications
  • Project management and administration
  • Project scheduling for all MEP Systems
  • Preparation of Shop, Fabrication and As-Built Drawings
  • Purchasing of all equipment and subcontracts
  • Review of shop drawings
  • Field surveys and jobsite reports
  • Quality control (Punch List)
  • Commissioning, start-up and turnover of all MEP Systems

Construction Management

Construction Management is built into our Design-Build services and differentiates us from other MEP providers. By being the single point of responsibility for MEP systems, we significantly reduce costs and increase construction efficiencies for our clients.

We do this by becoming involved in the design and pricing for the initial concept, schematic level, design development and construction document. In addition, B&R

  • Bids all MEP subcontractors and materials
  • Purchases all major material items
  • Supervises all subcontractors
